ABOUT THE RENO ICE RAIDERS
Founded in 2015, the Ice Raiders Hockey Club is a full-contact, travel men’s Senior A hockey club that plays teams based out of Nevada, California, Texas, Montana, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Colorado. The Ice Raiders independently compete against teams in the Mountain West Hockey League (“MWHL”) the Black Diamond Hockey League (“BDHL”) and the Great Lakes Hockey League ("GLHL").
The team features a full 20-man roster with prior experience at the professional, semi-professional, college, and junior levels. The Ice Raiders play approximately 20-25 games a season (combined home and away game schedule). All home games are played out of the Jennifer M. O’Neal Community Ice Arena.

ICE RAIDER HISTORY
2015
Ice Raiders are founded.
Founded in 2015 as the Oakland Ice Raiders by Weston Nash. The Ice Raiders were part of the "MWHL" and played their first games out of Vacaville California.
2017 - 2018
First Championship win.
The 2017 / 2018 season brought the teams first MWHL championship win. Competing against the Vail Yeti in the finals, the Ice Raiders won in game 3.
2018 - 2019
Undefeated season.
The Ice Raiders went undefeated in the 2018 / 2019 season to secure back to back championship wins in the MWHL. The team beat the Breckenridge Vipers in game two.
2021 - 2022
First season in Reno.
After a year off, Simon LeBleu brought the team to Reno with the help of Andrew and Jess Peterson. The team played its first games in front of a sold out crowd and continue to enjoy the love and support of our Reno community.
